Setting Up RosterForge for Your Organization

Step 1: Create your organization. Sign up at rosterforge.io. Name your org.

Step 2: Add your players. Enter them manually or import from a spreadsheet. First name, last name, birth year (optional). That is the minimum.

Step 3: Create an event. Name it (e.g. "Fall 2026 Evaluations"). Select the sport. Choose scoring mode: Decision Tree (calibrated 1-10, recommended) or Simple (evaluator-rated 1-5, good for getting started).

Step 4: Create sessions. One session per evaluation group. Keep each session under 40 players.

Step 5: Register players to the event. Select which players are in this event.

Step 6: Assign pinnies. Add your pinnie colors and number ranges to the inventory. Assign a pinnie to each registered player.

Step 7: Configure drills (decision tree mode). Add drills in the order they will run on the floor. Name each drill, select the scoring category, add notes for evaluators.

Step 8: Add evaluators. Create evaluator profiles. Assign them to sessions. Register any conflicts (evaluator's own children).

Step 9: Send evaluator links. Each evaluator gets a unique link. Send it out a day before so they can confirm it works.

Step 10: Run the eval. Open the Live Session page. Review the pre-flight checklist. Brief your evaluators. Hit "Go live."
